It all started with the opening lines of, “Ah! Shoo! Stay away! It was a dark, terrible night when Galila ran into a great, big, scary… something.” My third grade teacher told me it was great and had real potential, and I knew from that moment that I wanted to be a writer. I had never imagined that dream would realistically come true, but here we are. From third grade to a mother of two, and I actually have three books published and at least two more on the way.

Allow me to introduce myself. I’m Alice Wach, the imaginative mastermind behind The Helpful Hedgehog collection and hopeful novelist. I live in a tiny town in Utah with my amazingly supportive husband and two daughters. These daughters are my living inspiration for any children’s book I write. I live constantly in a world of words and ideas flowing through my head, so there’s always a new story or book budding. I guess you could say I never learned to grow outside of my imagination, and nothing is going to stop me now.
